Where: LUAG Lower Gallery, Zoellner Arts Center
Date: Thursday, November 17th
Time: 4pm - 6pm, with remarks from students at 4:45pm
This photography exhibit will provide a window into what it means to belong on campus as a first generation student. In this project, over 50 first generation students took photographs of people, places, and things that help or hinder their sense of belonging within the Lehigh community. This gallery exhibit will feature photographs and reflections from these students as well as ideas on how to foster belonging on campus.
The gallery exhibit is open to the whole community. We invite you to visit the exhibit and reflect on your own experiences of belonging at Lehigh, how your various identities have shaped your experiences of belonging, and learn more about the experiences of first generation students at Lehigh.
