Psychology majors are encouraged to extend their learning beyond the classroom through student organizations, professional experiences, and internships. These opportunities allow students to connect with peers, explore career interests, develop professional skills, and become active members of the psychology community.
Psychology Club
The Psychology Club is a student-led organization open to all students interested in psychology. Activities vary from year to year based on members' interests and may include guest speakers, career discussions, social events, and community outreach.

Psi Chi
Psi Chi is an International Honor Society in Psychology dedicated to recognizing and promoting excellence in the science and application of psychology. Students who meet the qualifications set by the national organization will be invited to join. Psi Chi offers opportunities for leadership, professional development, networking, scholarships, and research support.

Internships
Internships provide valuable hands-on experience while helping students explore career paths, develop professional skills, and apply psychological knowledge in real-world settings.
Students may pursue internships independently or enroll in PSYC 162 Internship for Psychology Majors, which combines field experience with academic work for course credit.
